Boardman Main Street IAMP
The City of Boardman originally adopted an Interchange Area Management Plan (IAMP) for the Main Street area in 2009 to guide development and access near the interchange. Since that time, Boardman has experienced continued population growth, new residential and commercial development, and ongoing expansion of the Port of Morrow as a major regional employment center. These changes have increased activity and demand in and around the Main Street interchange area.
In recognition of these evolving conditions, the City is updating the Main Street IAMP to reflect current needs and future opportunities. The updated plan will provide a coordinated approach to land use, transportation, and infrastructure to support economic development while maintaining safe and efficient access. This website includes project information, updates, and ways to stay involved throughout the planning process.
