Public Workshop #2

The project team is holding the second and final Public Workshop for the Harney County Coordinated Transportation Plan Update to collect public input on the draft transportation service strategies and implementation plan. The workshop format this round will be more traditional and will be held at the Harney County Senior Center in tandem with Meal Days so that patrons can learn about the proposed strategies on their way into or out from lunch and provide their input. Come see us and tell us what you think!
For those who would like to provide their input through a virtual option, this online survey will share the same information to be presented at the in-person event and will be available through Monday, November 21.
Following the workshop, the project team will incorporate public feedback and present a revised Draft Coordinated Transportation Plan Update to the County this winter to consider for adoption by the New Year.
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Meeting #3

The project team is holding the third and final TAC meeting for the Harney County Coordinated Plan Update to present the draft plan to collect the group's input. The draft plan and meeting agenda are available on the Project Documents page. Following the meeting, the project team will incorporate TAC feedback and present a revised Draft Coordinated Transportation Plan Update to the County this winter to consider for adoption by the New Year.

The project team is holding the second TAC meeting for the Harney County Coordinated Plan Update to summarize results from the first round of Public Outreach, review identified transportation service needs, and present draft transportation service strategies and associated implementation plan. Technical memos and presentation slides summarizing this information are available on the Project Documents page. Following the meeting, the project team will incorporate TAC feedback and begin developing the Draft Coordinated Plan to present to the public later this fall.

The project team is holding the first Public Workshop for the Harney County Coordinated Plan Update to collect public input on transit needs in the county. The workshop format is a pop-up style event at locations in the Burns/Hines area. The afternoon segment of this workshop will be held near the entrances of Safeway (246 W Monroe St, Burns, OR) and Thriftway (13011 US 20, Burns, OR). Come see us and tell us what you think - you'll be entered into a raffle at the chance to win 25 free rides with Harney Hub Transit!
