Klamath Falls Urban Trail Plan
About the Project
The City of Klamath Falls, Klamath County, and the Oregon Department of Transportation are working on a plan to improve the trail system in the Klamath Falls area. The objectives of this plan are to identify:
- New trails, bike lanes, and sidewalks to create a well-connected trail system
- Opportunities to make crossing roads safer and more convenient
- A signing system to make it easier to find trails and destinations near them
Benefits of implementing this plan:
- A healthier Klamath Falls
- Better options for walking, biking, and running
- Economic opportunities
- Easier access to popular destinations, such as Downtown, OIT, and Sky Lakes Medical Center
