Charlie Stephens, an engineer with Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), will present information on oil and energy, and their impact on transportation system planning. In looking at transportation for the next 10 to 20 years, it is valuable to have an understanding of the availability (or scarcity) of oil during this period, as well as how rising gasoline prices might impact future planning.
Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance represents the energy efficiency interests of the Northwest electric utility funders in federal and state energy codes and efficiency standards processes, and developing large-scale energy efficiency initiatives for the Pacific Northwest region.

The TSP's second Public Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting will be on November 15th. One of the topics, PAC members will be discussing are the goals and objectives for the TSP update. The TSP's first Public Advisory Committee Meeting will be held on October 18th at Clackamas County's Services Building. At the first meeting, PAC members will learn about the scope of the TSP update project, their role in it, and begin to discuss the vision and goals for the TSP. The public is welcome to attend.
